Chinmay Laghate is a UI/UX Designer by profession but an artist at heart and loves to explore the artistic side with paintings, woodwork and leatherwork.
he got fascinated by the sound and form of the symbol ‘OM’ (ॐ, ओम्), the sound from which the universe was formed. He tried to express the power of this spiritual symbol with colors, brush strokes and various tools in my artwork.
He sees calligraphy as a form of expression, these expression of Devnagri (Script) letters holds power and beauty in their vertical, horizontal, and angular lines, and their continuity. he has tried to convey a message and express emotion through the use of these written characters and experienced a connection with the higher power.
Born in the vibrant city of Maharashtra, Pune, Chinmay's artistic journey began at an early age, nurtured by his family's deep appreciation for culture and creativity.
From his earliest experiments with acrylic and canvas to his formal training at the renowned School of Fine Arts in Pune, Chinmay's passion for art has been a constant thread in his life. His studies allowed him to explore a diverse range of mediums, from Acrylic painting to other natural materials and ignited a curiosity for the interplay of color, form, and emotion.
